Albanian nationalists attacked members of the ethnic Greek minority at the village of Dervicani, in Albania's region of Gjirokaster (Argyrokastro in Greek), according to the Greek daily Kathimerini.
The paper reports that a group of about 100 people, holding flags and banners with nationalist slogans, drove to the village near Greece's border with Albania where they smashed shop windows and vandalized parked cars until they were stopped by police.
The violence in Dervicani occurred a few hours after a brawl at the politically-sensitive Euro 2016 qualifier between Serbia and Albania forced authorities to suspend the game.
The match on the Partizan Stadium pitch was abandoned Tuesday after a drone carrying a Greater Albania flag sparked clashes involving players and fans.
